The end of Sex and the City marked a gaping fashion hole in our televisual schedules, but fast forward ten years, and we’re suddenly inundated with fashionable TV! From the Mode offices of Ugly Betty, to the new SATC movie, to American imports Gossip Girl and new Candace Bushnell series Lipstick Jungle: couch potatoing has never been so stylish. Uber-producer Darren Star has been busy too, casting Style fave Lucy Liu in the lead role of his New York “dramedy” Cashmere Mafia (soon to hit our shores). Dressed by former SATC wardrobe brainiac Patricia Field, Lucy’s on-screen wardrobe consists of Vintage Valentino, Carolina Herrera, Marni, a healthy helping of Dolce & Gabbana and of course, the obligatory Louboutins. Jealous, us? Well, yes, just a little!
