Colours influence the clothes we wear, our home décor, the accessorises we pick, even the food we eat - so it makes sense that they affect how we feel and think. On a simplistic level, we’re affected by colour therapy everyday. We all know that certain colours are associated with particular emotions and actions. For example we subconsciously link red with danger while yellow will always be mellow to many of us. Colour therapy, also known as chromotherapy or colourology, is an extension of these associations and claims to be able to make you feel mentally and physically restored simply by exposing us to all the colours of the rainbow. Celebrity Followers Kylie Minogue apparently painted her bedroom pink – the colour of love – when she was recovering from cancer.
