Eat Your Greens…With Every Meal
Are your meals greyer than the average British summer? If so, you need to brighten and broaden your palette. Start thinking green, purple, red, yellow…anything that injects some colour and nutritional value into your plate and into your body. Just because the days of meat and two veg are behind us, doesn’t mean that veggies should be side-lined. The possibilities are limitless: Pasta can be enhanced with a side salad; a bowl of broccoli works just as well with a chilli as it does with a roast; berries sprinkled on cereal means a brighter breakfast; peas and mint make a splendid accompaniment to a plain dinner; while courgettes fried in a little olive oil with basil are strangely addictive! Go on, be adventurous!
